Lot 274:
A Lot of Ammunition and Components in .44 Caliber including .44 Remington Magnum and .44 S&W Special
Sold for: $50
Description
This lot is a collection of ammunition, specialty rounds, and empty brass casings primarily in .44 caliber. The lot includes three factory boxes and loose components, totaling 70 Live Rounds and 30 Empty Brass Casings. The factory packaging includes a vintage Winchester box for .44 Smith & Wesson Special Center Fire Cartridges, a Federal American Eagle box marked 50 CENTERFIRE PISTOL CARTRIDGES (likely .44 caliber based on the loose rounds), and a Thompson/Center Arms Contender box for .44 HOT SHOTS. The loose assembled ammunition consists of 50 rounds of centerfire pistol cartridges, primarily .44 Remington Magnum, bearing headstamps from Winchester (W-W), Remington UMC (REM UMC), and Federal Cartridge (F C). The lot also includes 21 specialized red polymer-tipped cartridges or components consistent with the Thompson/Center .44 Hot Shots design. The 30 empty brass casings are contained in a partial cardboard box.
Condition: The external packaging for all three factory boxes shows significant wear, including creasing, staining, handling marks, and edge tears consistent with long-term storage. The loose assembled ammunition and empty brass casings exhibit typical oxidation, tarnish, and wear. The primers on the assembled rounds appear intact. The brass casings are generally clean but show signs of having been fired. We have not function-tested or verified the propellant or primer integrity of any live ammunition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding the purchase and possession of ammunition.
