Gun Collectors Dream Auction #81 January 31st & Feb 1st
Lot 344:
Sold for: $100
Description
This lot comprises a collection of eight new and unused reloading components and accessories focused primarily on the .22 TCM (9x28mm) caliber, along with components for adapting .224 caliber projectiles to .30 caliber firearms. The primary accessory is a boxed Lee Precision ESETTER DIES set, designed for the .22 TCM cartridge, confirming a required bullet diameter of .224 inches (5.69 mm). Included are three sealed retail packages of ARMSCOR PRECISION copper-jacketed projectiles. One package is explicitly labeled Cal. 22tcm JHP 40gr. (Jacketed Hollow Point, 40 grain). The lot also contains two clear plastic bags of E. Arthur Brown Company Sabots (077-SAB), designed to allow the shooting of .224 Caliber Bullets in a .30 Caliber Firearm. Each bag states it contains 100 empty sabots. Completing the lot are two loose metal die components, likely sizing dies, which display a light greenish/teal oxidized finish. This lot is classified as ammunition components and reloading equipment.
Condition: All packaged items, including the Lee Precision die set, the ARMSCOR projectiles, and the E. Arthur Brown sabots, appear to be new, sealed, and unused in their original retail packaging. The loose die components show minor surface oxidation (greenish/teal patina) consistent with long-term storage or exposure, but their threads and internal surfaces appear serviceable. We have not function-tested the dies or verified the exact count of projectiles or sabots within the sealed packages. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms and ammunition component laws.
