Description

This lot consists of 100 rounds of vintage Federal 12 Gauge shotgun ammunition, packaged in original cardboard boxes. The ammunition is a mix of high-performance hunting loads. Visible loads include Federal 3" Super Magnum (Buffered Shot, 1-3/4 oz. #4 shot, 4 Dram Eq.), Federal Hi-Power (2-3/4" Magnum, 1-1/2 oz. #4 shot), and Federal Premium (2-3/4" Magnum, 1-1/2 oz. #6 shot, Copper Plated Shot). The shells are constructed with plastic hulls (predominantly red, with some black examples) and feature brass or copper-colored high bases. The packaging displays vintage graphics consistent with Federal’s high-velocity hunting ammunition lines. The total quantity of ammunition in this lot is 100 rounds.
Condition: The ammunition boxes exhibit significant wear consistent with age and storage, including heavy staining, tearing, scuffing, and handwritten price markings and applied stickers. The cardboard packaging is fragile. The visible shells appear to be live ammunition. The plastic hulls show minor surface dust and scuffing, and the brass bases show varying degrees of tarnish and patina. We have not function-tested this ammunition. Due to the age and unknown storage history, the reliability and safety of firing this ammunition cannot be guaranteed. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding the purchase and possession of ammunition.
