Lot 484:
A Lot of 184 Mixed Ammunition Cartridges in Flambeau Handgun .38 Special Storage Containers
Sold for: $50
Description
This lot consists of 184 cartridges of mixed ammunition, housed within four yellow Flambeau plastic storage containers. The containers are clearly marked "Flambeau HANDGUN 38 SPECIAL" and are designed for 100-round capacity each. The majority of the ammunition consists of brass-cased, copper-jacketed round-nosed cartridges consistent with standard .38 Special factory loads. The lot is considered mixed ammunition due to the presence of variant cartridges, including two rounds with silver/nickel-colored casings and one heavily tarnished, longer brass cartridge, which is consistent with .30 carbine ammunition specifications, as suggested by the user-provided keywords. The plastic ammo storage containers are similar in style and function to models produced by MTM and Plano, as noted in the web intelligence report. A price sticker on the top left box displays markings of "$1.55" and "$132."
Condition: The four Flambeau plastic storage containers are in good overall condition, showing minor surface wear. The ammunition appears generally unfired. The majority of the brass casings and copper jackets are clean. Minor tarnish is visible on some cartridges, particularly the single horizontal, longer cartridge. The loose rounds, including the two silver-cased rounds, show minor handling wear and tarnish. We have not function-tested this ammunition, and it is sold as a collectible lot. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding the purchase and possession of ammunition.
