Description

A single fixed-blade hunting knife manufactured by Camillus Cutlery Company, marked CAMILLUS New York U.S.A. on the ricasso. The knife is of full-tang construction, featuring a satin-finished stainless steel blade with a deep-bellied clip-point profile. The handle is fitted with two dark reddish-brown wood scales secured by two metal pins. The knife is accompanied by a reddish-brown leather sheath with perimeter stitching and a metal snap closure strap.
Condition: The knife shows evidence of regular use. The stainless steel blade retains its satin finish but exhibits numerous superficial scratches and minor surface discoloration consistent with field use and sharpening. The edge appears intact but may require professional sharpening. The wood handle scales are sound with a rich color, showing minor handling marks but no cracks. The accompanying leather sheath is worn, with scuffs, creases, and darkening typical of age and use, but the stitching remains secure and the snap closure functions correctly.
