Description

A single Browning BL-22 lever-action rimfire rifle. This example is chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle ammunition, utilizing a tubular magazine beneath the barrel. The rifle features a high-polish blued metal finish and high-gloss finished wood stocks, consistent with the Grade I configuration. The action utilizes an exposed hammer and a short-throw lever. Sighting consists of a folding adjustable rear sight and a non-factory, modified fiber optic front sight. The barrel is marked BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU and BL-22 CALIBER .22 SHORT, LONG & LONG RIFLE PATENT NO. 3377731. The receiver bears the serial number 03126 ZV 242. The rifle is accompanied by a worn, quilted denim-look zippered rifle case.
Condition: The rifle is in very good overall cosmetic condition. The high-polish blued finish retains nearly 100% coverage with minimal handling marks. The high-gloss wood stocks (likely walnut) show minor cosmetic scuffs and shallow scratches, particularly visible on the forend and buttstock, consistent with light field use. The bore appears bright with strong rifling, though it has not been scoped. The lever action appears to function correctly, cycling and locking up smoothly. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition and cannot guarantee mechanical safety. The included denim-look case is heavily soiled and worn. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
