Description

This lot consists of 150 rounds of centerfire pistol ammunition chambered in .40 S&W, sourced from three distinct manufacturers and projectile types. The lot includes three 50-round factory boxes. The first box is Herter’s Select Grade Brass Case 180 grain FMJ (Full Metal Jacket). The second box is Blazer Ammunition 180 grain FMJ. The third box is SinterFire Reduced Hazard Frangible 125 grain RHA (Reduced Hazard Ammunition). The SinterFire rounds feature specialized, lead-free, frangible projectiles designed for reduced ricochet risk, consistent with market intelligence regarding SinterFire’s Reduced Hazard lines. The cartridges are brass-cased and boxer primed. The loose cartridges displayed in the trays confirm the composition of the lot, showing standard FMJ rounds (with visible Herter’s headstamps) and the distinct copper/bronze-colored frangible projectiles.
Condition: The ammunition appears to be in clean, unfired condition with no visible corrosion or significant tarnishing on the brass cases. The cardboard factory packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear, minor crushing, and edge fraying consistent with storage and handling. The integrity of the ammunition within the boxes is presumed intact. We have not function-tested this ammunition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
