Condition: The firearm is in poor to fair antique condition, exhibiting heavy wear consistent with age and long-term storage. The metal surfaces have lost virtually all original finish and display extensive, heavy brown and russet patina, surface rust, and moderate pitting, particularly on the receiver and barrel. The wooden buttstock and forend show heavy wear, numerous scratches, dings, and drying cracks, though the wood appears structurally sound. The hard rubber buttplate is intact but worn. The falling-block action appears to function correctly when operated by the underlever, and the hammer cocks and releases. The bore condition is unknown as we have not inspected the interior of the barrel. We have not function-tested this firearm. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
