Lot 598:
A Pair of Ammunition Storage Containers: Cabela's Dry-Storage Box and Military Metal Can
Sold for: $15
Description
This lot consists of a pair of ammunition and utility storage containers, verified to contain two distinct items. The first item is a large polymer Cabela’s Dry-Storage Ammo Box, finished in olive drab/gray with an integrated black carrying handle and a prominent yellow Cabela’s decal affixed to the side. Web intelligence confirms this item is commonly marketed as the Cabela’s Dry-Storage Ammo Box. The second item is a standard military-style metal ammunition can, painted olive drab. The metal can features prominent red stenciling on the side reading: CERTIFIED EMPTY BY CW02 CAMPBELL. No firearms or ammunition are included in this lot. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
Condition: The Cabela’s polymer box is in generally good used condition, showing minor scuffing consistent with light storage use. The decal is intact. The military-style metal ammunition can exhibits significant wear, including heavy scratching, paint loss, and surface rust consistent with heavy field use and age. The lid appears functional on both containers, though we have not tested the waterproof seal of the Cabela’s box. The metal can is explicitly marked as empty.
