This lot features an olive-drab metal M2A1 style ammunition storage can repurposed to hold two large plastic jars of cast lead projectiles intended for reloading. The metal can is stenciled in yellow with military specifications indicating its original contents: 840 CRTG 5.56MM, BALL • M855, 10 ROUND CLIPS, and the lot number LC-01K108-193, suggesting manufacture by the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. The two clear plastic jars feature yellow screw-on lids and are filled with numerous silver/gray cast metal bullets. The projectiles are molded lead featuring visible crimp grooves, indicating they are designed for standard cartridge reloading.
