Sold for: $20
Description
This lot features two signs. The first is a vintage Prairie Farmer Protective Union No Trespassing sign. The yellow metal sign features black and red printed graphics, including the Prairie Farmer star logo with a handshake motif. Text includes Member Prairie Farmer Protective Union and A Farm Progress Publication, with a reward notice for reporting defacement at the bottom. The sign is mounted to a weathered, rough-hewn timber backing with decorative tacks. The second item is a cast metal novelty plaque titled State of Mind Histerical Committee. The upper circular section contains an outline of the state of Colorado. The lower rectangular section features raised lettering with a humorous anecdote regarding the 1858 Pike’s Peak or Bust gold rush and complaining neighbors.
