Description

This is a Rosco Arms Co. Vestpocket model double-action revolver chambered in .22 Short. Manufactured in West Germany, likely by Rohm Gesellschaft (RG), this small-frame handgun represents a typical European export to the United States from the mid-20th century. The firearm features a black-finished metal frame and cylinder with a fixed front blade sight. The left side of the barrel is stamped ROSCO ARMS CO. / CAL 22 SHORT, while the right side is marked MADE IN GERMANY. The frame is stamped with the serial number 198822 and includes various German proof marks. The revolver is equipped with cream-colored, checkered plastic grips featuring circular medallions; the right side displays the Rosco diamond logo and the left is labeled VESTPOCKET. This model is a classic example of a pocket-sized defensive sidearm from the pre-1968 era. Note: This item is a firearm and is subject to all federal, state, and local regulations. It must be transferred through a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).
