Gun Collectors Dream Auction #82 February 21st & 22nd
Lot 375:
Sold for: $675
Description
A highly desirable, modern tactical shotgun manufactured and imported by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), Middletown, PA. This is the Tavor TS12 (Model TS12G), a gas-operated, semi-automatic bullpup shotgun chambered for 12 Gauge with a 3-inch chamber capacity. The TS12 is renowned for its innovative design, featuring a rotating triple magazine tube system that allows for a high capacity of 15 rounds (5 rounds per tube). The firearm is constructed primarily of durable polymer and metal components, presented in an Olive Drab (OD Green) finish on the stock/chassis, contrasted with black components, including the ribbed muzzle device and magazine tubes. The bullpup configuration allows for a full-length 18.5-inch barrel while maintaining a compact overall length. Factory markings are clearly visible on the receiver, identifying the model as “Tavor TS12 – 12GA, 3″” and listing the serial number H0016210. The accompanying original cardboard shipping box displays the IWI logo and a factory label confirming the specifications: “12 GAUGE, 3″ CHAMBER,” “18.5” BARREL, 15RD TUBE, OD GREEN,” and noting assembly in the USA using parts made in Israel and the USA. Included accessories are the original sealed clear plastic bag containing manuals and accessories, a small yellow plastic tool (likely a choke wrench or disassembly tool), and a red octagonal “STOP” safety tag. This model represents a significant piece for collectors of contemporary military and tactical firearms.
