Sold for: $130
Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of Hornady Zombie Max ammunition, a specialized product line within the Firearms/Accessories/Ammunition category. Manufactured by the Hornady Manufacturing Company under item number 83271, this ammunition was introduced circa 2012 to capitalize on the zombie-themed pop culture trend of the era. Each round is a .223 Remington caliber featuring a 55 grain Z-MAX projectile, which is distinguished by its signature lime-green polymer tip and copper jacket. The cartridges are constructed with high-quality brass cases bearing the HORNADY 223 REM headstamp. The collection is comprised of five original 20-round cardboard boxes, each featuring vibrant green, red, and black graphics with silhouettes and the Just in case… marketing slogan. The packaging includes the manufacturer warning that the contents are live ammunition and not a toy. While marketed with a novelty theme, these rounds utilize the same high-performance components found in Hornady’s professional varmint ammunition lines. Please note that the purchase and transport of live ammunition are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
