Description

A vintage Pacific DL-105 shotshell reloading press, manufactured by the Pacific Tool Company, a division of Hornady, located in Grand Island, Nebraska. The press is constructed with a robust red painted cast metal base and mechanism block, complemented by black painted steel linkages and various aluminum and steel components. The mechanism block is clearly marked “PACIFIC DL-105,” “PAT.,” and “PEND.” The press utilizes a dual hopper system for powder and shot: a translucent white hopper labeled “POWDER” and a translucent yellow/amber hopper labeled “SHOT.” The base features a vertical scale marked “WAD PRESS” with increments of 40, 60, and 80, used for setting wad pressure. The operating handle is fitted with a black plastic grip. The unit is currently secured by four bolts to a thick, unfinished wooden plank, a common practice among reloaders for bench mounting stability. This model is highly sought after by collectors of vintage reloading equipment and shooting enthusiasts.
