Lot 100:
A Lot of 74 .41 Magnum Centerfire Cartridges
Sold for: $95
Description
This lot consists of 74 centerfire cartridges chambered in .41 Magnum, contained within two vintage cardboard manufacturer boxes. The first is a green and yellow Remington box containing 50 cartridges featuring lead semi-wadcutter projectiles. Headstamps within this box include R-P 41 MAGNUM and W-W SUPER 41 REM MAG, indicating a mixture of Remington-Peters and Winchester-Western manufacture. The second is a white, red, and blue Winchester-Western Super-X box containing 24 loose cartridges featuring jacketed soft point projectiles. Headstamps visible in this box include R-P 41 MAGNUM and F C 41 MAG, representing Remington-Peters and Federal Cartridge Co. production. The cartridges are standard centerfire rounds intended for use in revolvers chambered for the .41 Magnum caliber.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show moderate storage wear, including edge fraying, small tears, and the presence of old price stickers and adhesive residue. The brass cartridge cases exhibit varying degrees of surface tarnish and light oxidation consistent with age. The projectiles appear intact and properly seated. This ammunition is sold as a collectible lot; the cartridges appear to be live, but we have not function-tested this ammunition and cannot guarantee its performance or safety.
