Lot 1005:
Description
This Taurus Gaucho is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 Long Colt, designed as a faithful reproduction of the classic 1873 Single Action Army pattern. The firearm features a 5.5-inch barrel and a six-round fluted cylinder. The metalwork is finished in a high-polish bluing on the barrel, cylinder, and grip frame, while the receiver and hammer exhibit a vibrant color case-hardened finish. It is fitted with checkered black polymer grips featuring integrated Taurus logo medallions. Sighting is provided by a fixed front blade and a notched rear. Key markings include the manufacturer name TAURUS on the left side of the barrel and SINGLE ACTION .45 LC on the right. The left side of the frame is marked TAURUS INT. MFG. MIAMI, FL. – USA alongside the factory logo, while the right side is marked MADE IN BRAZIL. The serial number ZA369875 is stamped on the underside of the frame forward of the trigger guard and matches the included factory box. This lot is accompanied by its original factory box and promotional literature. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in very good overall condition, retaining a high percentage of its original high-polish blued and case-hardened finishes. The barrel shows minor handling marks and some light surface scratches, while the case hardening remains vibrant. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The checkered polymer grips are in excellent condition with no significant wear. The action appears to function correctly with solid lockup and timing, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The factory box shows some shelf wear and fraying at the corners but remains structurally sound.
