Description
A bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum, designed for high-velocity long-range performance. The firearm features a 26 inch high-gloss blued barrel fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake to reduce felt recoil. The receiver is finished in a matching high-luster blue and houses a polished, fluted bolt. Key markings include the Weatherby script logo, MARK V, and U.S. PATENT 3,013,355 on the receiver, which also bears the serial number P16183. The barrel is marked 300 WBY. The rifle is mounted in a high-gloss finished walnut Monte Carlo stock featuring a raised cheekpiece, skip-line checkering on the forend and pistol grip, a contrasting forend tip, and a pistol grip cap with a white diamond inlay. It is equipped with a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x scope secured by decoratively engraved rings. The stock is completed with a brown rubber Weatherby branded recoil pad and includes front and rear sling swivel studs. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in very good condition, with the high-luster blued finish on the barrel and receiver showing excellent preservation and only negligible signs of handling. The walnut stock is bright and well-maintained, exhibiting very few minor surface marks. The fluted bolt remains polished and clean. The optics are clear and the reticle is sharp. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
