Description
This Ruger Standard is a semi-automatic pistol chambered for .22 Long Rifle, designed as a reliable rimfire handgun for target shooting and general recreation. The firearm features a 4.75-inch tapered barrel equipped with a fixed front blade sight and a rear notch sight. The construction consists of a steel receiver and barrel originally finished in blue, now showing significant age. The pistol is fitted with black checkered polymer grip panels that house silver-colored Ruger phoenix medallions. Verbatim markings include the left side of the receiver stamped RUGER 22 CAL. LONG RIFLE AUTOMATIC PISTOL and the right side marked STURM, RUGER & CO. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. The serial number 109109 is clearly struck on the right side of the frame. This lot includes two magazines featuring chrome-plated floorplates and a brown leather Hunter brand holster stamped with the model number 1100R 34. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The original blued finish has transitioned to a heavy and relatively uniform brown patina across the barrel and receiver. There are areas of visible surface oxidation and light pinprick pitting throughout the metal surfaces. Wear to bare metal is present at the muzzle and along the high points of the frame and bolt. The black polymer grips are in good condition with well-defined checkering and minor handling marks. The magazines show finish wear consistent with use, and the chrome floorplates exhibit light surface scratching. The leather holster shows significant age-related wear, scuffing, and darkening. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected.
