Description
A Gerber StrongArm fixed-blade survival knife manufactured in Portland, Oregon. The full-tang blade is constructed from BDZ1 stainless steel and features a matte stonewashed finish. The obverse side of the blade is laser-etched with the Gerber logo, while the reverse is marked MADE IN USA, PORTLAND, OR, and BDZ1 | 0871117A. The handle is composed of a tactical gray diamond-textured rubberized overmold over a black glass-filled nylon core, featuring a prominent crossguard and a striking pommel with an integrated lanyard hole. Included is the original black modular sheath system, which consists of a molded plastic scabbard embossed with the Gerber name and logo, along with black nylon webbing for multiple mounting configurations including belt, MOLLE, and drop-leg options.
Condition report:
This knife is in good pre-owned condition. The blade exhibits numerous linear surface scratches and scuffing consistent with regular use and insertion into the hard plastic scabbard. The cutting edge appears well-maintained with no significant chips or damage. The handle and modular sheath components show minor signs of wear but remain in sound structural condition.
