Description
This is a Colt MK IV Series 80 Officer’s ACP semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto, a compact variant of the 1911 design intended for concealed carry and personal defense. The firearm features a 3.5-inch barrel and a blued steel slide and frame. Key markings include the left side of the slide stamped COLT MK IV above — SERIES 80 — followed by the rampant colt logo, while the right side of the slide is marked OFFICER’S ACP. The right side of the frame is engraved COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. and bears the serial number FA29193. The barrel hood is marked —COLT 45 AUTO—. The pistol is currently fitted with checkered wooden grips containing gold-tone medallions and is accompanied by an extra set of Altamont diamond-pattern checkered wood grips featuring gold-tone rampant colt emblems. The configuration includes fixed three-dot sights, a serrated trigger, and a spurred hammer. The lot includes one blued magazine, a black Doskocil hard plastic case, and a small Allen wrench with screws. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows moderate wear and surface scuffing on the slide and frame, with thinning visible on the high edges and grip safety consistent with handling and holster use. The checkered wooden grips are in good condition with minor handling marks. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected. The extra Altamont grips and hard case show minimal signs of wear.
