Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds total of centerfire pistol ammunition, comprised of 50 rounds of 9mm Luger and 50 rounds of .40 S&W. The .40 S&W cartridges are held in a white foam tray and feature mixed headstamps including Federal 40 S&W, Speer 40 S&W, and Winchester 40 S&W, with projectiles including both jacketed hollow point and full metal jacket varieties. The 9mm Luger cartridges are housed in a vintage Winchester cardboard box and feature mixed headstamps including REM-UMC 9 m/m Luger and W.R.A. Co. 9 m/m Luger, with round-nose full metal jacket projectiles and some instances of purple primer sealant. The vintage red, white, and yellow box is prominently marked Winchester 9 m/m Luger, 50 Center Fire Cartridges, Staynless – Non-Mercuric – Oilproof, For Luger, Walther P38 and other semi-automatic pistols of this caliber, and Made in U.S.A.
Condition report:
The brass casings exhibit varying degrees of age-related tarnish and minor surface oxidation consistent with long-term storage.
