Description
A trio of 30-round detachable box magazines manufactured by Ammunition Storage Components (ASC) for use with AR-15 pattern rifles chambered in 5.45x39mm. These magazines are constructed from stainless steel with a matte black finish and feature vertical strengthening ribs for increased durability. Key markings include the stamped ASC logo and NEW BRITAIN CT on the floorplates, while the lower portion of the magazine bodies are stamped 5.45 X 39 SS indicating the caliber and stainless steel construction. Each magazine has been hand-labeled in white paint marker with 5.45 and 30 on both sides of the body to denote caliber and capacity; one magazine also bears these markings on its floorplate. The magazines utilize a standard AR-15 style magazine catch interface and anti-tilt followers.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good condition, retaining the majority of their matte black finish with some minor surface scratches, light edge wear, and handling marks throughout. The steel bodies are free of significant dents or structural damage. The feed lips appear to be in good order and the followers function correctly under spring tension. The hand-applied paint markings are clear and legible.
