Description
This Winchester Model 94 is a lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester, configured as a standard carbine with a 20-inch barrel and a full-length magazine tube. The metalwork features a polished blued finish on the receiver, barrel, and magazine, while the furniture consists of a smooth walnut straight-grip buttstock and a matching forend. The rifle is fitted with a hooded front post sight and an adjustable buckhorn rear sight. The buttstock is finished with a checkered black plastic buttplate featuring the Winchester Repeating Arms logo. Verbatim markings on the barrel include WINCHESTER -®- MODEL 94 30-30 WIN. / MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL. The serial number 4741522 is stamped on the underside of the receiver, and the underside of the lever is personalized with the hand-engraved initials L.E.F. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in very good condition, exhibiting a strong blued finish with only light surface wear and minimal thinning at the edges. The wood stock and forend are in very good condition, showing an attractive grain with a small compression mark on the left side of the buttstock. The bore is bright with distinct rifling. The action appears to function correctly, although we have not function-tested this firearm.
