Description
This Springfield Armory XD-S Mod.2 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. It features a 3.3 inch barrel and a compact profile designed for personal defense. The firearm is constructed with a matte black finished slide and a black polymer frame featuring a textured grip and an integrated grip safety. The slide is fitted with a red fiber optic front sight and a white two-dot rear sight. Verbatim markings include XDS-45ACP, 3.3, and Mod.2 on the left side of the slide, while the right side is marked SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A. The serial number HG123764 is clearly visible on the slide, the barrel hood, and a metal plate on the underside of the frame. Additional frame markings specify MADE IN CROATIA and SI GENESEO, IL. Included with the lot is one stainless steel magazine with a black polymer grip extension and a gray zippered soft case by Ace Case L.L.C. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol presents in good condition with minor signs of handling wear. The matte black finish on the slide shows light thinning on the sharp edges and some superficial surface marks. The polymer frame is excellent with sharp texturing and no notable damage. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The included magazine and soft case show light use but remain fully serviceable.
