Description
This Rock Island Armory MAPP1 MS is a semi-automatic, hammer-fired pistol chambered in 9mm, featuring a double-action/single-action trigger mechanism. The firearm is constructed with a matte black finished steel slide mounted on a black polymer frame, which includes an integrated accessory rail on the dust cover for the attachment of lights or lasers. The grip area features a textured polymer surface with a distinct scale-like pattern for enhanced control. Sighting is provided by a fixed three-dot system. Key markings include the manufacturer’s logo and MAPP1 MS CAL. 9mm on the left side of the slide, while the right side is marked APINTL-PAHRUMP NV ACP PHILIPPINES. The top of the slide is further marked Assembled in the Philippines by Armscor. The serial number KAR05814 is clearly visible on the right side of the slide and on a recessed metal plate on the frame. The barrel hood is stamped CAL. 9mm. The right side of the frame is marked PHILIPPINES and READ WARNINGS BEFORE USING GUNS. This lot includes the original black plastic hard case, one magazine with a red follower, a red cable lock with keys, a cleaning brush, an orange chamber flag, and factory documentation including an inspection certificate matching the serial number. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent overall condition, showing minimal signs of handling or use. The matte black finish on the slide is well-preserved with no significant scratches, thinning, or holster wear. The polymer frame is free of cracks or notable abrasions, and the grip texturing remains sharp and well-defined. The bore is bright with crisp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, with the slide cycling smoothly and the safety engaging as intended, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. All included accessories appear to be in new or like-new condition.
