Description
This Smith & Wesson M&P40 is a full-sized semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W, featuring the distinctive Viking Tactics configuration. The firearm is built on a flat dark earth polymer frame with an integrated accessory rail and is paired with a stainless steel slide finished in a matching tan PVD coating. It is equipped with a 4.25 inch barrel and a specialized sighting system consisting of Viking Tactics Warrior sights that combine fiber optic elements for daylight and Trijicon tritium inserts for low-light conditions. The grip is enhanced with a black textured rubberized sleeve featuring finger grooves and the Smith & Wesson logo. Key markings include the model designation M&P 40 and the manufacturer logo on the left side of the slide, while the right side is marked SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. and CAUTION-CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED. The barrel is marked .40 S&W visible through the ejection port and the frame contains a serial number plate stamped HAF7803. The sights are marked VTAC and Trijicon T H3 12. This lot includes a total of three magazines featuring black steel bodies and flat dark earth polymer baseplates. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good overall condition with minor cosmetic scuffs and superficial finish wear visible on the slide, particularly near the muzzle and along the top edges. The polymer frame remains well-preserved with no significant gouges or cracks. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly with a smooth slide cycle and crisp trigger reset, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The rubberized grip sleeve is supple and securely fitted.
