Description
This lot features a pair of RCBS carbide reloading dies for .45 Auto, originally part of a three-die taper crimp set. The components are housed in a gray plastic RCBS storage case with an embossed logo on the lid. The set includes one sizing and decapping die and one seating die, both constructed with threaded steel bodies and knurled adjustment tops. Verbatim markings on the manufacturer label include RCBS 3 – DIE CARB TC SET .45 AUTO, P/N: 18915, Group B, and Use Shell Holder #03. The dies are marked RCBS on the knurled sections. This lot is missing one die from the original three-piece set and the shell holder. The interior of the case is marked with a handwritten 40 in black ink.
Condition report:
The dies are in used condition with visible surface oxidation and light rust on the threaded portions of the bodies. The knurling remains distinct. The gray plastic case shows typical signs of use including light scuffing and a handwritten numerical mark on the interior. The mechanical integrity of the threads and the condition of the internal carbide surfaces have not been tested.
