Description
This Winchester Model 94 is a lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Win, featuring a 20-inch barrel and a full-length magazine tube. The barrel and magazine tube retain a blued finish, while the receiver displays a heavily mottled brownish-grey patina from wear. The rifle is equipped with a smooth wood straight-grip stock and forend, featuring a textured buttplate with the Winchester Repeating Arms logo. Sighting is provided by a hooded front post and an adjustable rear buckhorn sight, with a Tasco optic currently installed on a Kwik-Site side-mount base. Verbatim markings on the barrel include WINCHESTER -®- MODEL 94 30-30 WIN. MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL. The WP proof mark is present on both the barrel and receiver, and the serial number 4326568 is stamped on the underside of the receiver. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The barrel and magazine tube show approximately 80 percent of their original blued finish with scattered handling marks and light thinning. The receiver exhibits significant finish wear, having transitioned to a mottled brownish-grey patina with areas of surface oxidation. The wood furniture is in good condition, showing scattered dings and scratches consistent with field use. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The Tasco optic has clear glass and a functional duplex reticle.
