Description
This lot features a factory wooden rifle stock designed to fit a Remington 700 ADL short action bolt action rifle. The stock is constructed with a classic Monte Carlo style comb and a prominent raised cheekpiece for a right-handed shooter, finished in a durable high-gloss coating. The furniture displays traditional checkered patterns on both the forend and the pistol grip to provide a secure textured surface. It is equipped with a black rubber recoil butt pad and two metal sling swivel studs, with one located on the forend and the other on the buttstock. The interior is inletted with cutouts for a right-handed bolt action receiver and a bottom metal assembly. No manufacturer names, model numbers, or serial numbers are visible on the exterior surfaces. Please note that this lot consists of the stock only and is missing the receiver, barrel, trigger group, and magazine components.
Condition report:
The stock is in good overall condition with the high-gloss finish remaining largely intact. There are minor surface scratches and small dings present, primarily concentrated around the buttstock area. The checkering on the grip and forend remains well-defined and sharp. The rubber butt pad shows minimal wear and remains supple. No cracks or significant structural damage were observed during the visual inspection.
