Description
This Browning A-Bolt bolt-action rifle is chambered for the .338 Winchester Magnum cartridge and is designed for heavy-game hunting. The rifle features a matte black finish on the metal components and is mounted in a black synthetic stock with textured checkering on the forend and pistol grip. The barrel is fitted with the Browning BOSS (Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System), which includes a knurled adjustment ring for harmonic tuning. The receiver is equipped with a variable power scope featuring a duplex reticle and flip-up lens covers. Key markings include the serial number 47266NW807 on the left side of the receiver. The left side of the barrel is marked BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN, and the right side is marked PAT. 4723369 & PEND. A-BOLT CAL. .338 WIN MAG ONLY. The trigger guard displays a gold-colored Browning Buckmark logo and the rubber recoil pad is marked BROWNING. This firearm is missing its detachable magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte black finish shows some minor scuffs and handling wear on the barrel and receiver. Light surface oxidation is visible on the BOSS muzzle device and the sling swivel studs. The synthetic stock is in good used condition with some superficial scratches and scuffs. The optics appear clear with a functional reticle. The bolt action cycles smoothly, though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The magazine is missing.
