Description
This lot features a Rock Island Armory M1911 A1-FS semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto, configured as a full-size government model handgun. The firearm is equipped with a 5-inch barrel and a matte black finish on the slide and frame. The pistol is fitted with Magpul olive drab green textured polymer grip panels and features a skeletonized hammer and a light gray grooved trigger. Aiming is facilitated by Novak three-dot sights featuring red fiber optic inserts. Key markings include the Rock Island Armory mountain logo with ROCK ISLAND over ARMORY on the left rear of the slide, while the right side of the frame is stamped with the serial number AP1951606 and the model M1911 A1 – FS. The barrel, visible through the ejection port, is marked 45 AUTO and NM7791414. Import and manufacturing marks under the front of the frame read APINTL-PAHRUMP NV and ACP PHILIPPINES. The pistol is accompanied by one single-stack magazine and a black zippered nylon NewShark storage pouch. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte black finish shows minor cosmetic wear, scuffs, and light handling marks consistent with use. The Magpul grips are in good condition with crisp texturing. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The included magazine exhibits visible surface wear and areas of oxidation. The zippered pouch is in good, functional condition.
