Description
This lot consists of a collection of four boxes of rifle projectiles intended for handloading, all in .22 caliber with a .224 inch diameter. The group includes one yellow and silver plastic box of Speer 50 grain Hollow Point TNT bullets, product number 1030, containing 100 count. Also included are two green plastic boxes of Sierra MatchKing 53 grain Hollow Point Match bullets, product number 1400, with 100 count each. Completing the lot is one green cardboard box of Sierra Varminter 40 grain Hollow Point bullets, product number 1385, containing 100 count. Key markings on the Speer packaging include the caliber, weight, and the warning for velocities not exceeding 3400 feet per second and twists no quicker than 1 turn in 10 inches. The Sierra boxes are marked with the manufacturer name, MatchKing or Varminter model designations, and the specific grain weights and product codes. These are inert components only and do not contain powder, primers, or casings.
Condition report:
The packaging for all four boxes is in good overall condition, exhibiting typical minor shelf wear. The Speer plastic box shows some adhesive residue and light scuffing on the front label. The Sierra plastic boxes are well-preserved with clear markings and intact hinges. The Sierra cardboard box for the Varminter bullets shows some softening
