Description
This walnut rifle stock is designed for a Remington Model 700 BDL long action bolt-action rifle. The stock features a high-gloss finish and a sporter-style configuration with a Monte Carlo-style comb and a raised cheekpiece. The furniture is accented with a black synthetic forend tip and pistol grip cap, both featuring white line spacers. Point-pattern checkering is present on the forend and pistol grip for enhanced grip. Two black circular recoil crossbolts are visible through the sides of the stock. Key markings include an incised letter R located within the internal magazine well cutout. The stock is equipped with front and rear sling swivel studs and is finished with a black synthetic recoil pad with a white line spacer.
Condition report:
The stock is in fair to good condition, showing significant signs of use and age. The walnut body exhibits numerous scratches, dings, and scuffs throughout. There are visible areas of localized peeling and wear to the clear high-gloss finish, particularly on the buttstock and forend. The checkering remains intact but shows some smoothing from handling. The synthetic accents and recoil pad are in good condition with minor surface wear.
