Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of .45 Colt ammunition presented in two green translucent plastic storage boxes. The collection features a diverse mix of projectile types, including lead round-nose and copper-jacketed bullets. Based on the variety of headstamps and differing primer finishes, these cartridges are likely reloaded ammunition rather than factory-original loads. Transcribed headstamps from the brass casings include REM-UMC .45 COLT, R-P 45 COLT, F C 45 COLT, W-W 45 COLT, and AGUILA 45 COLT. The rounds are organized in two 50-round grids with one additional cartridge placed horizontally on top of each grid.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in aged condition, with the brass cases exhibiting significant oxidation and widespread green verdigris corrosion across multiple rounds. The projectiles and primers show varying degrees of surface wear and discoloration. Due to the presence of corrosion and the likelihood of these being reloads, the rounds are sold as components only and their reliability or safety for firing cannot be guaranteed. The ammunition appears live as primers are present and projectiles are seated.
