Description
This bolt action rifle is a Mossberg Patriot Night Train chambered in .308 Winchester, configured for precision and long-range applications. It features a 22 inch fluted barrel with a matte black finish, terminating in a removable multi-port muzzle brake marked with a 5/8-24 thread pitch. The receiver is paired with a distinctive spiral-fluted bolt and a top-mounted Picatinny rail. The firearm is fitted with an olive drab synthetic stock featuring textured grip panels, a Mossberg-branded recoil pad, and a black Beartooth Products neoprene stock sleeve. Key markings include the barrel designation MOSSBERG PATRIOT NORTH HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. – CALIBER 308 WIN – and the serial number MPR0504383 on the left side of the receiver. The rifle is equipped with a UTG 6-24x50mm variable power optic featuring an illuminated mil-dot reticle, adjustable turrets, and side parallax adjustment. One black polymer detachable box magazine is included. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in well-maintained, used condition. The matte black finish on the receiver and barrel shows minor surface marks and light thinning at the high points, with some carbon residue present on the muzzle device. The olive drab synthetic stock remains in good order with only minor scuffs consistent with field use. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The bolt action appears to function correctly and the trigger pull is crisp, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The UTG optic features clear glass and the illuminated reticle is functional.
