Description
This lot consists of three boxes of Remington Golden Saber High Performance Jacket centerfire ammunition chambered in .40 Smith & Wesson. The collection includes two boxes of 165-grain brass jacketed hollow point cartridges, model GS40SWA, and one box of 180-grain brass jacketed hollow point cartridges, model GS40SWB. These rounds feature nickel-plated cases and brass-jacketed hollow point projectiles with red sealant visible around the primers. A visual inspection of the included plastic tray reveals a count of 24 cartridges, with one empty slot in the grid. Prominent markings on the packaging include Remington Golden Saber HPJ, .40 Smith & Wesson, and Made in the U.S.A. along with bilingual English and French text. The cartridge headstamps are transcribed as R – P and 40 S&W.
Condition report:
The green and yellow cardboard packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear with minor tearing at the corner flaps and one box is marked with OLD STOCK in black marker. The cartridges appear to be in good, live condition with no visible corrosion or significant tarnishing to the nickel-plated cases. One box is missing a single cartridge, resulting in a total count of 74 rounds.
