Description
This CZ model 40 B semi-automatic pistol is chambered in .40 S&W and features a 4.25-inch barrel. The firearm is finished in black and is equipped with a spurred hammer and black checkered composite grips. Sighting is provided by a fixed three-dot system. Key markings include the model designation on the left side of the slide transcribed as CZ 40 B CAL. 40 S&W followed by a circular logo, while the left side of the frame is marked CZ-USA KANSAS CITY, KS. The right side of the frame is marked MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC and bears the serial number A116925, which matches the serial numbers found on the slide and the barrel. The barrel at the ejection port also displays a Czech lion proof mark and the digits 05 within an oval, indicating a 2005 manufacture date. Included with the pistol is a blue hard plastic case with the CZ logo, one detachable magazine with witness holes for 8 and 10 rounds, and a red plastic cleaning rod. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good used condition, with the black finish showing minor wear on the edges and small nicks on the frame near the trigger guard. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The black checkered composite grips are well-preserved with sharp checkering. The included blue plastic case shows some external wear and scuffing.
