A pair of smokeless propellant canisters manufactured by the Winchester-Western Division of the Olin Corporation. This lot includes one 3 lb canister of Winchester 540 ball powder, intended for shot shell loads, and one 3 lb canister of Winchester 473AA ball powder, designed for target and standard velocity shot shell loads. Both metal containers feature the distinctive Winchester-Western branding and logos, including the red W and the blue and red AA symbols. Key markings include the manufacturer name Winchester-Western Division Olin, locations in New Haven, Connecticut, and East Alton, Illinois, and the net weight of 3 lb (1.36 kg) on each.
