Description
This lot consists of 149 rounds of assorted 9mm Luger ammunition housed in three plastic storage trays and accompanied by two vintage-style empty cardboard boxes. The collection features a diverse array of casing materials including brass, nickel-plated, and steel, primarily loaded with full metal jacket projectiles. The ammunition is organized into one yellow plastic flip-top box containing 50 rounds, one black plastic tray containing 49 rounds, and one white plastic tray containing 50 rounds. Verbatim headstamp markings observed across the assortment include F C, R-P, W-W, HORNADY, Tulammo, PPU, SPEER, REM-UMC, S&B, BLAZER, Western, and Geco, representing manufacturers such as Federal, Remington-Peters, Winchester, and others. Included in the lot are two empty vintage cardboard boxes: a green Remington Kleanbore 50 Center Fire box and a red box from The Ammo Station of Antioch, California. The variety of headstamps, casing finishes, and primer types suggests a mixture of factory-loaded cartridges and potential reloads.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in mixed condition, showing varying degrees of age, surface oxidation, and tarnish across the different casing types. The nickel-plated and brass cases generally show light to moderate shelf wear and tarnish, while some steel-cased rounds exhibit more pronounced surface oxidation. Primers appear intact and the ammunition is offered as live rounds.
