Gun Collectors Dream Auction #83 May 2nd & 3rd TWO DAYS - NO RESERVES - 1200 LOTS!
Lot 1418:
Description
This lot consists of five detachable box magazines designed for the Ruger Mini-14 rifle chambered in .223 Remington. Each magazine features a thirty-round capacity and is constructed of durable black polymer with horizontal reinforcing ribs along the lower section for improved handling and structural integrity. The magazines utilize a specific locking lug and rear latch configuration consistent with the Ruger Mini-14 platform. Key markings molded into a recessed rectangle on the lower body include the manufacturer and origin as THERMOLD / MAGAZINE / USA with a molded capital letter H located to the left of the text. The bottom floor plates are explicitly marked with PAT. NO. 4139958. Small circular mold marks containing the number 12 are present near the base on the opposing side of the body. These magazines appear to be in good overall condition with minor surface scuffing and accumulated dust consistent with light use or storage, but no visible cracks or structural damage.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good condition. The black polymer bodies show light surface wear and scuffing from handling and storage. The feed lips and locking lugs appear intact without significant wear or deformation. The internal springs maintain strong tension and the followers move smoothly through the full range of travel. No cracks, chips, or structural failures are observed in the polymer housings or floor plates.
