Description
This Rossi R95 Trapper is a lever-action rifle chambered for the .45-70 Government cartridge, configured for high-power utility and brush hunting. The 16.5-inch barrel features a matte black finish, an adjustable rear buckhorn sight, a ramped front sight, and a threaded muzzle equipped with a knurled protector. The receiver has a matching matte black finish, a silver-toned bolt, and a large loop lever for easier manipulation. The furniture consists of a checkered hardwood stock and forend, which includes a black rubber recoil pad and integrated sling swivel studs. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation R95 BRAZTECH INT.LC BAINBRIDGE GA along with the Rossi logo on the receiver. Barrel markings specify MADE IN BRAZIL BY CBC CAL. .45-70GOVT and the serial number 7CF037335U. The rifle is accompanied by its original factory box with matching serial number and model information, a packaged cable lock, and an original warning hangtag. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent, like-new condition, retaining nearly all of its original matte black finish with no significant wear or scratches. The checkered hardwood stock and forend are in excellent condition with sharp checkering and minimal handling marks. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The original factory box shows only minor storage wear and remains structurally sound.
