Lot 146:
RCBS .44 Magnum and .44 Special Reloading Die Set and 100 Count of Federal #209A Shotshell Primers
Sold for: $40
Description
This lot features a vintage RCBS three-die carbide reloading set and a box of Federal shotshell primers. The RCBS set is housed in its original green plastic case bearing the Omark Industries logo and is labeled for .44 Magnum and .44 Special with part number 18610. The set consists of three steel dies with knurled adjustment rings. Included within the case is a period load data clipping from the July 1981 issue of Guns and Ammo magazine. Accompanying the die set is a box of 100 Federal Champion #209A shotshell primers, which contains a complete tray of primers.
Condition report:
The reloading dies show light surface oxidation and tarnish on the knurled adjustment rings and threaded bodies. The green plastic case shows some external wear and staining to the factory labels. The primer box shows moderate shelf wear, including edge scuffing and minor corner compression. The primers appear visually intact; however, the stability and functionality of vintage components are not guaranteed.
