Description
This lot consists of an RCBS Little Dandy hand-held powder measure designed for precision pistol reloading. The assembly features a translucent green plastic reservoir tube with a black plastic friction-fit cap, mounted to a textured green cast-metal body with a threaded steel base for optional stand mounting. Key markings on the reservoir include the RCBS logo and the designations LITTLE DANDY and PISTOL POWDER. A total of seven items are present in this lot: one powder measure unit, five additional rotors, and one plastic nozzle. The collection includes a total of six steel rotors: one is currently installed in the measure body, two are contained within their original plastic retail packaging, and three are loose. The packaged rotors are explicitly marked as LITTLE DANDY ROTOR #4 86004 and LITTLE DANDY ROTOR #3 86003. Also included is a single translucent green plastic drop tube nozzle. This system utilizes fixed-capacity rotors to provide consistent powder charges for various handgun calibers.
Condition report:
The powder measure unit and reservoir are in good used condition with minor surface scuffs to the plastic components. The textured green finish on the cast body remains largely intact. Of the five additional rotors, the two in original packaging appear well-maintained, while two of the loose steel rotors show significant surface oxidation and heavy rust.
