Description
A lot of spent handgun ammunition casings of mixed manufacture and caliber. The collection is primarily composed of brass casings with occasional nickel-plated examples present throughout the container. Calibers identified through visible headstamps include .40 Smith & Wesson and .357 Magnum, while secondary research indicates the likely inclusion of 9mm Luger, .380 ACP, and .30 Super Carry components. Verbatim markings observed on the headstamps include R-P 40 S&W for Remington-Peters, S&B 357 MAG for Sellier & Bellot, and W-W 40 S&W for Winchester-Western. The items are contained within a cardboard shipping box and are intended for use as reloading components or for metal scrap value.
Condition report:
All items are in fired and uncleaned condition. The casings show varying degrees of environmental wear, including significant oxidation, surface corrosion, green verdigris patina, and white mineral residue. While some casings retain a bright finish, many exhibit heavy tarnish and darkening consistent with long-term storage in non-climate-controlled conditions. The casings are spent and inert.
