Description
This lot comprises a bulk collection of approximately 250 spent .25-06 Remington rifle ammunition casings contained within a cardboard box. The items consist of once-fired brass and nickel-plated rifle casings from various manufacturers intended for reloading. Technical examination of representative headstamps reveals the literal characters W-W, SUPER, 25-06, and REM on a nickel-plated casing; R-P, 25-06, and REM on a brass casing; and HORNADY, 25-06, and REM on a second brass casing. These markings indicate the casings were manufactured by Winchester, Remington, and Hornady respectively. The casings are presented in their as-fired state with spent primers still seated in the primer pockets. This lot consists entirely of inert metallic components and contains no live ammunition, projectiles, or propellant.
Condition report:
The casings show typical signs of use for once-fired brass, including carbon fouling at the necks and light surface oxidation or tarnish. The nickel plating on some examples shows minor shelf wear. All primers are spent and indented. The cases appear structurally sound for reloading purposes. The lot is entirely inert.
