Description
This Remington Model 770 is a bolt action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, designed for sporting and hunting applications. The firearm features a 22 inch barrel with a matte black finish and a receiver equipped with a Viridian Precision Optics EON 4.5-14x50AO scope. The action is housed in a black textured synthetic stock that includes a rubberized recoil pad embossed with the Remington name. Key markings include the serial number M71841612 and the model designation Remington MODEL 770 on the left side of the receiver. The left side of the barrel is stamped with REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. MAYFIELD, KY and 308 WIN, with additional proof marks including a small REP within an oval, a triangular symbol, and the number 58. This rifle is missing its detachable box magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte black finish shows visible surface oxidation and light pitting on the barrel and bolt handle. The synthetic stock remains in good condition with minor scuffs and handling marks consistent with field use. The bore was not inspected, but the action appears to function correctly; however, we have not function-tested this firearm. The mounted Viridian optic shows clear glass and a functional duplex reticle.
