Description
This lot consists of 90 rounds of .40 Smith & Wesson centerfire pistol ammunition, featuring high-performance jacketed hollow point projectiles from two major manufacturers. The Federal component includes 180 grain HST Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP) cartridges, model XM40HC, which utilize brass cases with headstamps marked FEDERAL 40 S&W. The Winchester component consists of Ranger Law Enforcement T-Series 180 grain JHP ammunition, model RA40T, featuring nickel-plated cases with headstamps marked WINCHESTER 40 S&W. Both varieties are designed for tactical or defensive applications, utilizing expanding projectiles for controlled terminal performance. The ammunition is housed in original manufacturer packaging, including a white Federal box and a yellow and blue Winchester Ranger box.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good, clean condition with no visible corrosion or oxidation on the brass or nickel-plated cases. The projectiles are properly seated and the primers are intact. The Federal box shows minor shelf wear and includes a retail price sticker. The Winchester box shows moderate edge wear and some scuffing consistent with storage. All cartridges appear to be factory-loaded and live.
