Description
This collection of 11 ammunition reloading manuals and reference guides includes volumes from major manufacturers such as Sierra, Lyman, Speer, Hornady, and Barnes. The lot features four 3-ring binders: the Sierra Bullets Rifle Reloading Manual, Second Edition (1985); the Sierra Bullets Handgun Reloading Manual (1985); a Sierra Bullets Reloading Manual with a circular green graphic (1971); and a large pictorial Sierra Rifle & Handgun Reloading Data binder. Hardcover editions include the Barnes Reloading Manual Number 3; Speer Manual for Reloading Ammunition Number 8 (Rifle, Pistol & Shotgun); and the 7th Edition Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading. Four spiral-bound plastic comb manuals are present: Speer Reloading Manual for Wildcat Cartridges Number 4; Lyman Ideal Handbook No. 40; Lyman Ideal Handbook No. 39 commemorating 75 Years of Reloading; and the Lyman Ammunition Reloading Hand Book, 41st edition. These reference works provide technical data for various calibers and gauges. The volumes range in size from approximately octavo to quarto.
Condition report:
The collection is in fair to good condition. The spiral-bound Lyman manuals show significant wear, including torn binding holes and frayed edges to the covers. The Speer Number 4 manual has a notable surface tear on the upper right portion of the front cover. The hardcover volumes and 3-ring binders exhibit typical shelf wear, surface scuffing, and minor corner bumping. No dust jackets are present for the hardcover editions. Interior pages show occasional handling wear and light soiling consistent with use in a reloading environment.
