Description
This Rock Island Armory M1911 A1-FS is a full-size, single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. The firearm features a 5 inch barrel and a matte black Parkerized finish on the slide and frame. It is equipped with black checkered rubber grips that incorporate the manufacturer’s logo. The pistol utilizes standard fixed low-profile sights. Key markings include the model designation M1911 A1 – FS and the serial number RIA2782019 on the right side of the frame. The barrel hood is stamped CAL. 45 ACP, and the underside of the dust cover carries the import and manufacturing marks APINTL-PAHRUMP NV / ACP PHILIPPINES. The left side of the slide features the Rock Island Armory logo near the rear cocking serrations. This lot includes the original factory box labeled GI Standard FS, a Rock Island Armory branded padded soft case, one 8-round magazine marked ACT-MAG and MADE IN ITALY, the user’s manual, a cable lock, and a chamber safety flag. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in excellent overall condition, showing minimal signs of handling wear to the matte black Parkerized finish. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The checkered rubber grips are well-preserved with no significant smoothing or damage. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The included accessories and factory packaging are in excellent condition.
